2023 Grech Strada Ion 90 day review. Love my new Gree AC unit, its so quite!!! The heat pump and dehumidifier are just bonuses. However I will say this before you attempt the upgrade check with Firefly Integrations (574.825.4600) before the install so you have the latest software version and installation instructions for you touch panels. That way everything will work properly right from the start.

I love how quiet it is! Only concern is will it stand up to Texas heat but doing great with temperatures in 94 and under. Time will tell have had 3 digit heat yet.

Super power efficient AC! Doesn't overdraw amps. Even in 108 degrees/30% humidity it kept internal temp at 80 degrees and didn't have run every minute of the day. I replaced a Coleman Mach System. It could use a RV air flow type air direction to be even more efficient on RV ducts. Overall incredibly happy with this system.

I really love this unit, a huge improvement over my Coleman Mach NDQ. I enjoy how quiet it is, the ease of toddling through modes with remote control, or the on unit display and even Wi-Fi through the Gree app. Eco cool was very easy to work with and delivery was fast, and Support has been good so far. Highly recommended!

I installed 4 of the Eco cool AC units on our Prevost Bus this week and they are extremely quite! The only thing you hear is the air flow coming thru the vents. I chose to use the manual controls verses using the ducked system and I am glad that I did. They pull a less less amps than the cruise airs. With all 4 of them running they only pull 24 amps and the cruise air pulls 19 by its self. Time will tell but so far these units are incredible and cool the coach great. It was 92 yesterday and they cooled the coach great!!

The Eco Cool is quiet and powerful. Definitely an upgrade. Quality of life in the coach much better with this HVAC unit.

Mercedes Sprinter 3500 XD (24') A great HVAC unit. Quiet and strong. In direct sun in AZ, 105 plus degrees, this unit can keep up. The sound is not intrusive and is a quality-of-life upgrade in the coach. 600-watt-hour lithium and using AC getting 7/8 hours of run time depending on the time of day.

Amazing! Went from a free blowing Dometic to the Eco Cool. Went from 59 to 61 decibels to 48 to 50 decibels. Note this was measured with an app on my phone and may not be accurate but still provides a good comparison of before and after. Basically, it makes less than half the noise on low VS the Dometic.

Easily replaced our old AC unit. So much quieter than our old unit and blows nice and cold. Really nice aesthetics as well. Looks really nice in our old camper.

Sorry for not giving you 5 stats because I do love it. But no one in my book is perfect and there is always room for improvement, therefore the best possible score I can give is one less than the max. The unit is AMAZINGLY Quiet! That I love. The Ducted model has a flat interior panel no more than about <1" thick so it takes nothing in headroom. And it blows just as cold if not colder than anything on the market. But seriously the quietness of this unit alone is worth every penny of whatever additional cost it might be over the standard brands. I don't know what that is because I was so sold on both the quietness and lower draw on the electrical system that I didn't even bother to compare! The only issue I would mention is that the support knowledge of who I talked to about installing this unit into an RV with an existing in roof duct system certainly could have been a lot better. Even just a heads up on the simple understanding that the internal configuration of the ductwork could be different on different rigs, and that it might take some creative ingenuity to both get the air directly into your ductwork, and maintain sufficient return air flow so as to not bog down the unit - That is actually the one question about my set up that I sell have a little bit of question on. I think we're ok, but I'm not totally sure. The last thing I want to do is put any strain on the unit that could be harmful in the long run. Also, it was obviously designed with this potential issue in mind as the outflow air duct on the unit itself clearly has it built in, to where you can screw on a an outflow channel piece, onto which you can slip a plenum/Y splitter/your own ingenious ductwork design piece. If that piece exists, it should absolutely be included with the unit. It certainly would have made things a lot easier. Just to be clear, I say all this for no other reason than to hopefully help you to help your next client who has questions about how this system will mount up to their in roof ducted air system. As for the amp draw and the heating system, haven't even had a chance to test any of that stuff, but I'm sure it's going to be spot on. Oh yea! The other really cool feature is the soft start feature. That really makes a big difference on how the whole rig is affected when the unit is kicking on! And sure my entire electrical system loves that too! Final word - If you own an RV and you're in need of a new AC, You Gotta Get a Gree. And once you do, I know that you will Agree! with the best choice I could have made!

I am simply blown away at how quiet this thing is. Insane compared to the Coleman Mach we had before.
